HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY IMAGES?

You will be sent a selection gallery to pick your favourites from within 2-3 weeks of session. Final gallery will be sent 1-2 weeks once selections are made.


HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?

$150 non refundable retainer is required upon booking to secure your date. The remainder is due 2 days prior to our session either by transfer or cash


WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY NEWBORN SESSION?

As soon as possible! My schedule fills up quickly! Newborn sessions are scheduled based on your due date. We will schedule the final date after your little one arrives. The earlier you can reserve your space, the better!


WHEN DO YOU DO NEWBORN SESSIONS?

I recommend photographing newborns between 1-2 weeks of age, but am a firm believer that is it NEVER too late. With my simple, natural style, we can easily document your baby well beyond that very early stage with success.


WHAT TIME OF DAY WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?

Outdoor sessions - I usually shoot around golden hour which is the hour before sunset. Golden hour is the last hour before sunset, when the sun is low, the shadows are soft and the glow is magic! Trust me its worth it for the golden glow. But what if you want that golden hour glow without completely disrupting your little one’s night time routine?? Then maybe autumn or even winter sessions could be for you! As we know with the shift in sun position and daylight savings we see a big shift in the sunset times in Melbourne during the cooler months.

For example session times approx.:

  • Summer -might start anywhere from 6:45pm - 7:45pm
  • Autumn - might start anywhere from 4:15pm - 6:30pm
  • Winter - might start anywhere from 3:45pm - 4:30pm
  • Spring - might start anywhere from 4:45pm to 7pm


Studio or in-home sessions are usually schedule mid-morning and scheduled on weekends.


WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY MATERNITY SESSION?

Maternity photos are best taken from 32-36 weeks. This session can take place at any location. Your session includes styling help!


CAN I INCLUDE MY PET?

Yes absolutely, although this may influence the location choice.


DO YOU PROVIDE RAW FILES?

No, my edits are my art and will not be given out.


WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

Once you have secured your session I will provide you with a detailed guide of what to wear. This will explain how to best style your family with the patterns, colours and tones that work best. My client wardrobe is also available for mothers, complimentary with each session. Neutral earthy tones. nothing too busy. Need help? WHAT IF IT RAINS OR WE ARE SICK?

If it sprinkles we are on still for some fun. If it pours we will have to postpone. If anyone is sick Covid symptoms we will have to postpone. If I am unwell we will also have to postpone.

If any of your family members are unwell, please notify me immediately to reschedule your session. No sessions will be completed with anyone who is coughing, sneezing or displaying any signs of sickness. Thankyou for your understanding as we aim to protect everyone, particularly the youngest and most vulnerable clients, our newborns and their mothers.


WILL I GET SNEAK PEEKS?

Sneak peeks are awesome, I know you guys are even more excited then me to see what magic we created but sneak peeks all depend on my work flow and my family. I have to prioritise jobs and my family life accordingly so cannot guarantee sneak peeks on any session


ARE YOU IMMUNISED?

Yes. Keeping up to date with immunisations is a priority.


WHERE DO THE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

I have some beautiful locations across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Once you have booked your session, you will receive a location guide that will help guide you with some options. Some locations may require a travel fee.


DO YOU OFFER PRINTS?

Professional prints can be purchased after your session through your private online gallery


DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?

Yes I have a little studio in my home in Keilor Downs. However, I currently only offer couple maternity and newborn sessions (with up to 2 siblings) in my studio.
